this has been a fun contest ... my last pic is of a Christmas decoration I have had since I was in elementary school ... we are talking a long time ago ... my sister and I loved it because the skaters skated around magically (you can see the wear marks from them sliding along on the glass) ... magnets in the skaters and magnets moving around below the "ice" accomplished the task ... hi-tech stuff way back then (50+ years) AND it STILL WORKS!

I want to thank everyone who participated and did a little 'extra' to make their posts more personal and interesting. I really enjoyed seeing the decorations, letter to Santa, and other festive posts.
