Some cool innovations there... getting rid of camshaft is a good idea..
Ducati got rid of valves with the desmo system.. like a spinning block with holes in right place.. so no power wasted fighting valve springs...

As a subaru owner though i gotta say..
650 bhp from an inline 4 is easily possible.. with just 2 liters not 7.5...
Give me a mahusive turbo and anything is possible....
Fuck theres 1500bhp civics out there..

Desmo Ducati still has valves, just a different system to usual
The block and holes system you are describing sounds more like a rotary engine
They had no valves but they lost power (which was limited) over time and had other issues that made them less common, wasted unburnt fuel and backfiring to name a few


The one in the video looks interesting without turbo issues or lag and has no timing belts or chains as well as cams

Interesting tech regardless

Ducati bike are beautiful bits of machinery but so unreliable this is the only way to own one successfully without being a mechanic,

I put it off until today.........when my mechanic put it up on the lift and then did all the work while I sat in the AC.
