Their marketing could for sure be improved. It's a little douche-y.

They make killer grinders though. I had to order one, of the 4 piece 3", which will be converted into a 3 piece. After tax, (I'm a CA resident), it was $60 shipped. I'll report back after it's in hand.

Last year got away from me entirely. I'm just a one man shop so unfortunately things can take awhile to get going. I'll be prototyping a new grinder this winter. Release date TBD.

Looks promising
A few issues to tweak and the size is smaller than the BCG
Some metal grinding against itself on one review
But sounds like most people like it so far reading the comments
Can't grind too much at once people say and have to break buds up

With my BCG I can put over 2-3g no worries and just put big buds in place and go for it

The bottom part looks like there is possibility to have powder fall over the edges with the inner wall design and maybe build up

If they tweak it as per people's suggestions and make it bigger it might be a winner though
Certainly nice looking and interesting and good reviews

I'd love to see a Troy side by side with the BCG comparison :)

I am looking forward to the updated version as my old SpaceCase is only getting 2 to 3 weeks between deep cleans in the ultrasonic cleaner (I don't even brush out between grinding sessions and definitely do not 'tap' to empty as the leftovers will end up as FECO)

Although I have low funds ATM and I don't really need a replacement grinder as my BCG is a dream to use

I also look forward to the updated version of both the BCG and the one you posted above
A bigger improved version of either is something that has my interest

I haven't had to brush or clean my BCG as of yet
No tapping necessary

Feco is brilliant stuff
Loving it in vape pens
I haven't used the HB for ages since getting hermes3 and ve10 quaser units

My rosin has just been Halo or Carta

So my grinder gets used pretty hard,

And it really needs a clean,

So I ultrasonic cleaned it again,

I am now starting to see a few small places where the coating has come off and am thinking of just replacing it with the same unit but am a bit worried about all the knockoffs getting around or I might just put up with the blemishes. The iso I used in a beaker in the UC will be the start of some FECO so that is always a bonus.

Got this sweet little MM 3 pc. from 420EDC (excellent service & prompt arrival of this little gem)

The chunky raw aluminum gives the impression of being an all business, no bling almost institutional look and feel to it.

It's solid feeling and has some heft. But is easily pocketable (I got it for traveling)

The proprietary double thick grip edge is simple but brilliant. Super solid and easy to hold and turn...way easier than my giant Cosmic. I have some nerve damage and give it two feeble thumbs up for ergonomics. I dabbed a tiny bit of coconut oil on the contact points and it glides smoothly and as we as my 'nicer' grinder.

The pieces fit together solidly but without the obvious precision of more costly grinders. In fact, because the lid didn't have that exact fit of a blinged out anodized beauty, I found it much easier to start the nug mulching without the possibly unnecessary exact tolerances of the high end grinders.

Finish is pretty much summed up by the images....not purty, but kind of beautiful in its own utilitarian way...

Pending a hard drop to concrete, these units could easily outlast a few lifetimes. Maybe I would loan one out to a friend, maybe.

Grind is medium fine. About perfect for my Dynavap needs. Very happy so far. Would recommend on both value and performance.

i was debating on getting a bcg but i really like the look of the herb ripper and the fact that it was stainless steel ... so i ordered a herb ripper 3-piece xl and just got it today (ordered it on the 4th of july) ...

i really like it! i like the weight ... feels good in my hand ... i got the fine/medium hybrid plate and the grind is just what i was hoping for (keep in mind i've only ground a few nugs) ... the grind seems really similar to my medium santa cruz shredder ... which is what the ripper is replacing!

after using it a little more i think the grind is a tad coarser than my scs ... which is fine with me ... i just didn't want any finer grind than the scs ... i'm really happy with the grinder and kevin was great at promptly answering some questions before i ordered.

I bought this on a whim for under $10 and I have to say it's fantastic. It's made of hemp, it's not magnetic but that's of no consequence, I'm not sure how to clean it but the info has to exist, but it grinds perfectly for vaporizing - fine, fluffy, nice even consistency. Comfortable easy turn, no metal screeching sounds, it has a good vibe to it. Right now it's my favorite grinder.

Picked up this one on amazon.ca in June for $21.00 CDN. Works remarkably well stays amazingly clean used daily and has yet to be cleaned.Powers through the stickiest bud and is easy to use for arthritic hands. The bud tray lifts out instead of being threaded which I kinda like cause it makes it easy to reincorporate kief back in if desired.

SCS website says - There is zero plastic in our hemp grinders. We use all-natural hemp with a hemp-based binder, so you can feel good about throwing it in household garbage. The grinder itself is 100% biodegradable.
