Accessories Grinders

I think here is like most places...do not link to obvious knockoffs from a pirate and if you did link a pirate unknowinhly it would quietly get cleaned up and you would be told.

Now on the Pucc, not a bad looking little grinder if one is after a smaller unit, I like grinding herb about as much as cleaning vapes compared to using them so I use a large grinder so I only have to do it every day or 2.

One thing the Pucc excelled in over the BCG is availability as they only seem to be out of the red units!

Well... I took one for the team and ordered a Pucc. And color me underwhelmed.

The first thing I noticed, out of the box, is that it is much lighter in weight than the BCG. And smaller. Both of which were covered in Troy's video (which YouTube has now taken down.... again... so here is a link to his review). Troy mentions how he isn't a fan of the way they've shaped the bottom well lip into a nonagon (9 sided polygon) and I have to agree with this. It makes it cumbersome to open and close. The grind is also very coarse... much like the coarse grind on the BCG... and more suited to smoking than vaping.

Imo.... spend the extra $25 and get the Brilliant Cut Grinder. You wont be sorry.
 
Still happy with my original kannastor gr8tr...
Police have had it twice for over a year in total..
Then gave it back to me finally full of weed still...
The moment they put it on counter i knew.. the stench or year old weed still strong...
They not too bright clearly...
Me and my gr8tr been through alot...
I plan to never change it...
And never to let the fuzz take him again...
 
Still loving my BCG
Despite the miniscule chip I made it is the best grinder I have ever used
I've tried many different expensive well known ones of different friends over the years
I never really found something to suit me spending the money over scissors or electric coffee grinder
I nearly bought a space case and a kannastor a couple times after using friends


I was smoking too back then, since vaping I wanted a grinder
The BCG for me is the easiest to use from putting it together to the smooth af grind experience with no cleaning ever yet
I have never used such a smooth grinder
The whole experience for me is a win with nice feel to touch and simple pull apart and put together
Consistent grind

I wish they made the bigger one when I got mine as I would have bought that one
I may get one at some stage though.

I wondered if it was worth suggesting to people as a cheaper alternative or not
The things you mentioned like the base design to stop it turning didn't look as good to me either
After watching Troy's video the things you mentioned made me think I wouldn't like it as much
But to hear you also have the same issues with it and knowing you own a BCG backs that up for me

I guess I'll stay recommending the BCG to people for now
The bigger one is definitely what I'd get now though for myself
 
I have been using the SLx V2.5 a bit lately mainly because it cost me real money, not a freebie but I have reverted to my Space Case, the SLX is just too small, I don't like having to break up buds before dropping into my grinder,

That's one of the things I like best about my Qubus....no center magnet. You can put big nugs thru it without busting them up.

The shape helps too...my alternate big gun is a 4" Cosmic Case and its rounded lid is way more difficult to grasp and turn than a square cube when you over load it. Also, the magnets won't engage with too much material in to be ground. I have a tendancy to drop stuff ...the CC is a highly polished, precisely machined piece of aluminum porn, but it doesn't compensate for it's not-so great ergonomics.

I have owned an assortment of grinders...mostly high quality and I prefer the Qubus by far.

An iso wipe (or Iso on paper towel)around around the gunky area works wonders and fast!

Thanks Vito... I know this. I was more showing how quickly it happens with this grinder.

I've used my BCG almost non stop since getting it. I've only cleaned it once.... and never have I gotten that build up on the sides. It's my favorite feature of that particular grinder.

Yeah... mine really didn't need it. I only cleaned it to take pics to show there was no wear on any of the parts.

And as to that... I still have no wear on any of the teeth. Granted... I do dab a lot so it probably doesn't get the kind of usage someone who only vapes flower would have. But I'm still really impressed with this grinder. Absolutely my favorite.

Yea I don't think the teeth wear at all
They can "chip" when putting the lid on too hard/quickly/off centre
That is what happened to mine when I over loaded it
Only miniscule but did happen
I don't think they flake or wear though at all
My favourite grinder I've ever used
