Remember when the tape/CD was released
P!ayed it over and over on my 50lb Sony portable discman when I finally got the CD
The tape broke from too much rewind and fastforward , got played every night while I was on the graveyard shift
End of the line with the guitar in the rocking chair

Got my disco girlfriend into rock
Think it was Fast Times at Ridgemont High where she heard it (for 100th time) but something clicked
Damn the Torpedoes was next and eventually Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Damn the polyester for denim and leather (she ended up with my Jean jacket and leather jacket, she was half my size wtf)
Fortunately for her the big hair was everywhere!
Rock and disco
Then came grunge, its nice when a clothing trend comes along that doesn't require you to change your wardrobe
Ripped jeans, plaid shirt (REAL plaid shirts from Sears basement, only the finest rejects will do) and white trash
I checked all the boxes
