Correct, Penn International light height adjuster, the Archimedes screw blew on the reel so I repurposed it.

Turned my plants to flower mode(12/12on/off);

I let them grow a couple inches taller this time, they are loving the warmer weather, just like me.

Been a couple weeks since turning the light to 12/12 to induce flowering,

So big I have to use the camera portrait style;

I haven't swapped my metal halide bulb over to high-pressure sodium yet as I am trying to slow upward growth, I will in the next few days. I will take another picture then to show the color difference of the 2 different style bulbs.

Loving that MH slow stretch after flip, looks very healthy and full @LesPlenty Do you expect that the stretch phase is nearly over?

My old strain would stop upward growth 4 weeks after turning, so these may still have a bit more to stretch(one more week?), looks like a lot of work harvesting later (looks like I will have to use my yo-yos this time), not a bad problem to have I suppose.

Should not be a problem as I have an input fan, exhaust fan and circulation fan running, no mold yet, 20 years and counting in the same spot!

As promised, a picture with the HPS light and how much redder it looks;

Lucky thing I went to take this photo because the light had not come on...I had not screwed it in tight enough Oh well an extra sleepin, who doesn't like that.
I also remeasured my grow room as I am looking at LED alternatives and it is 4'6"x4'6" and holds my 16 plants perfectly. A lot of led grow lights say they cover 2'6"x2'6" so I will need 4 of them for a nice even coverage. The following are waterproof and totally silent and only draw about 105 watt each so I would be saving around 200 watts of power over my 600w HPS/MH lights;

A bit expensive but they have a 3 year output warranty and a service life of 50000-100000 hours, my MH/HPS globes cost about AU$80x2 each year and a controller about AU$400 eavy 3-4 years....hmmm
I might get 1 to start with and grow 1 or 2 plants out from my freebie seeds that came with my seed order.
