Vape Qaroma-Taroma-Ceroma

Vitolo

Vaporist
DSC07165.jpg

Qaroma = Quartz Housing
Ceroma = Ceramic Housing
Taroma = Titanium Housing
Different from the FlowerPot, in that the housings shut completely around the coil.
No Quartz Housing is shown here in my picture, because he was out of Quartz Housings.
I am surely very impressed so far. Please see: https://qaromashop.com/
The values of money are in "ringgit" is:
rm100 = $23.93 (100 Malaysian Ringgit equals 23.93 United States)
The equipment is 100% pure (quartz/ceramic/titanium... borasilicate-ruby beads-wooden handle-SS)
I have had 1/2 of a bowl, am seeing stars, and the bowl's not brown yet!
It tastes so great that I am taking it slowly, so I am not using beads, and am staying at 650º
I do not use water often, but I am today, to start out with the tools general predicted usage.
I'll do a few hits with dry tube shortly.

Looks and sounds very interesting
Sold out of the 220v version atm

If this is as good as you say it is enticing
You say it hits similar to FP and I'm interested

Do you know if it is the same wiring as an auber?

If so I could just use their coil with my auber and it doesn't matter they are sold out of the 220v pid

I do not mess with Hardware enough to know to be honest.
It, like my very heavy hitters haven't devoted spots to leave it out.
Same with this. I will play and understand it, then I will have to put it someplace safe.
In two 10 X 10 rooms, floor space, counter space, and outlets are extremely valuable (plus birds and dog)!
I just did a session with the beads installed.
The stored heat plus resistance did cause me to lower the temperature to 625º.
The resistance had me finish a large bowl in 1.5 pulls!
I'm extremely comfortable.
Onward!

Further looking I think they are wired different

I have been eyeing a ball FP for a while
This is interesting, not necessarily cheaper when you look but the performance you speak of is promising

Have you tried the ceramic yet?

Not yet.
It may be postponed until the morrow, as I have been consuming a great deal of flower, and my attention diminishes.
Will be keen to hear your thoughts

I've had full ceramic vapes before that tasted amazing
Also the ceramic is a lot cheaper than quartz and Ti, so if it functions as well when you get the opportunity to test it could be a cheaper option for people looking

I am now having trouble with the PID.
I did a number of sessions well, but there are no instructions, and it won't heat up again.
I do the same maneuvers...
power-touch "set" and set it at 650º.... and the temp would rise.
Now the temp stays put.
Anyone know if I'm skipping something?

Mmm
So getting a 20mm coil elsewhere and using the auber may be best option regardless

Still be very keen to hear your thoughts with the ceramic when up and running

I hope you solve your issue with this pid though mate
Does it have a fuse in the back by chance?

No fuse just an on/off button.
Lights come on, but temperature does not rise.
I got two bowls done... one without beads, and one with.
The PID is not heating the coil.
The maker of the tool is in tight contact with me by email, and is walking me through
the steps to figure it out.

I wonder if the coil is broken or the Pid
I edited my post.
Qaromashop has been in touch with me.
Really fast response.
The maker obviously cares a great deal.
Thanks for caring about my worry!

Thanks to those of you that encouraged me and gave tips.
This tool is a powerful tool with which to medicate.
I truly did not need to come to the thread desparately seeking assistance.
That was me panicking since I did not see this developer on FC
I could have just waited for night to come.... for Qaromashop is across the world.
His day=my night.
I rapidly went into intricate and deep communication with Qaromashop via email.
Questions... suggestions... a dozen back and forth emails flew across cyberspace.
Customer service was amazing.... I did not expect it. I thought I would find the most help here in the thread.
Anyway the issue is resolved.
When any of you wish help from this sincere developer, a contact through his website will get fast action.
Remember that depending on the hour it could take until the next morning.

Glad you're up and running again
Love to hear your thoughts on the ceramic when you get the chance to try it out :)

I must wait for a PID to arrive from Malaysia, but once here, ceramic will be installed!

Okay so after reading your quick reviews and looking at the store and finding the only couple of reviews around the web - one being a short thread on a growers forum - I caved and made a purchase

I don't have lots of money atm and couldn't afford the taroma or qaroma but wanted to try the ball vape thing
Since the Ti and quartz is $233 AUD each but the ceramic was only $40 AUD I decided to grab one and give it a try and upgrade later if I liked

To me this really looks like the maker has been watching the FP - B1/B2 and seen the reviews and forums taking the best parts before designing their own ball vape

It has the smaller intake hole and similar holes at the top and bottom as the B2 - which seems to be the slight improvement others have mentioned with that vape over the B1
The design has removed the dab dish and has a lid with only weed use

From reading what I could find on the net the Ti hits harder than the other two
The quartz is meant to give some really nice flavours - could be for you there @LesPlenty

The ceramic I have tastes okay, it isn't my best tasting vape, but it is acceptable and not the main feature of this vape (I would love a quartz if I was rich as it is supposed to taste great plus have some of the function)
You can get nicer flavours down low 600/650 just like with dabs
For full extraction and less flavour but still okay 700/750 is the spot - I like 735-745

I have the long glass bowl as it is all they had when I made my order
This works perfect and could easily take .5g without packing
I tested smaller type bowls I have but found nothing really was better than the one that came with it
They now have a shorter glass bowl but after using a lot I like the long one - the performance is fine and if I want I can pack more in
They also now have a Ti bowl which I want in the future for $128

The glass bowl has very even extraction through almost the entire weed - the very outside you can see through the glass is a bit lighter in colour - but stirring shows it is just the outer bit - I think the Ti bowl would get that last tiny bit around the edge
The glass bowl is a bit better extraction than a DV
Opposite to dv where the outer is darker and the inside is lighter
The whole inside to the edge is darker and the outer edge is lighter with this
The avb is very even

This is the vape I wanted at the start of my journey
It is the same as - but much better - smoking cones in a bong
I can pack as little as a DV load in the bowl or as much as .5g and finish it in one hit with a small 2nd draw to clear
This is a brilliant vapour producer
This is as the mighty is to convert a joint smoker - the vape to convert a bong smoker
Not only can you clear the bowl in one go it is smooth as anything I've smoked or vaped
I smash the biggest bowl in one hit and no coughing - not a tickle

I believe the quartz would be the one if you are a flavour chaser
The Ti is meant to be a big hitter
I know I want the Ti bowl when I can and I definitely want the Ti Taroma when I can afford

I got the ceroma ceramic one to try cheap and am very impressed
I also got the ruby pack to fill the vape, I got the wooden handle (they gave me 3) the glass bowl (I would now get the Ti one)
The post was $60 AUD but it got here in a week flat
I think all up I paid something like $227aud?

If you are broke get a ceramic and you'll be happy
It hits harder than a dv with the same load
If you have the money and are a hard hit person go the Ti
If you want this type of function but better flavour go the quartz

If I could I'd get them all
I want the Ti though for sure when I can get the money

They also now have a Ti 2.0 which is only a couple dollars extra and I would get - they have countersunk the intake holes and made the bottom at the end of the stem so adding more balls which will add more heat transfer I suppose plus get the exit closer to the weed and work even better again

If you buy the Ti or quartz they give you a ceramic free
They gave me a ceramic free too

I have an auber and a 20 mm barrel coil to suit it that works fine
I cut the handle a bit shorter as it's very long and reamed the hole with a drill to fit the auber coil

I have been using a glass bong as a stand but have small female 18 mm glass stands from DHgate on the way that were $10 for two or something close to that

Hate being broke
Can't wait to be able to try the Taroma at some point
Very happy with this vape

It is a little bit cheaper way to try the baller vapes and works and hits similar

Best and quickest extraction going and hits hard
It can be used for small loads and get a decent buzz or if you pack as much weed as you would use to make a dab in and it can give dab like hits due to full extraction as quickly
It just produces vapour until you've got it all and then stops and you're done
No wispy ongoing hits even at lower temps

Very satisfying clouds even from a dv sized load in one hit
You can't over run the heater with this, in fact the harder you draw the more vapour you produce pretty much

@Vitolo have you tried the ceramic yet?
How much better is the Ti
If it hits harder and as I expect I will be happy with one

Not yet.
On the first day, the unit stopped working.
QaromaShop was right on it, however, and maintained continued communication.
I was sent a second PID, but learned through diagnostics that it was the coil that had
a faulty wire... a rare case.
I have a new coil coming back home, and it should arrive soon.
I will try the ceramic soon after the coil arrives.
The Ti sure is great!
I'll not forget to let you know about the ceramic!

I made the same mistake once by assuming that. Turns out, qaromashop was a few months ahead of the FP B1/B2/Injector/Heatshield Stand . You can see the dates on their early IG posts.

This is one of the best reviews I've read lately

True....wow
Interesting information
Well this maker has made something pretty special then I think

I look forward to trying the Ti greatly
I still feel this is the bong smokers mighty
I'm loving the clouds and hits
The flavour is good too, just not number one in my collection for this

Still loving this vape
Still long for a Ti version

Best bong vape I've had
Makes globs in the bong like dabs does
Hits hard and proper behind the eyes
Milks a bong so good
Most free flowing airflow I've used that also produces clouds
Can finish a bowl in one big hit

The flavour has improved also as the ceramic has seasoned I assume

This is the bong smokers vape

EDIT
I had forgot to mention I also bought the screens
This helps stop bits fall through the stem making bong dirtier and also helps the even extraction due to heat (I assume)

Not a fan of water, but this is one of the heavier hitting vaporizers I've used.
Yes... it got shippied to me, all is well.
It was a short in the coil.
@Vitolo have you tried the ceramic yet?
No, dammit.
I slapped the Taroma on immediately because the balls were in it.....
and now that I want to try the Ceroma, I keep wanting to do one more blast.
My excuse has been that it takes a long time to cool to a safe handling temperature, and I need my meds.
Ceramic tomorrow for sure!
