Vape SHOW US YOUR BALLS - Ball vapes - user experience and comparisons

True, all my vapes run/charge from my solar pond (200AH LiFepo4) except for PIDs and Plenty.

The power unit can run a Keurig without issues so the enail was not much of a leap
A lot of these units run well and if you are smart with your power usage you can easily get a full day with a bit of power left for the morning
Charge times are all over the place

Still think I need to develop some torch technique

I picked up a Ceramic head from B2cvape to satisfy my curiosity
Really impressed with the performance soo far, very tasty vape
What type/size balls did you go with @Hippie?

What grind do folks use with their ball vapes, course, medium or fine?
Im not balling yet.. maybe for black friday though..
From videos iv seen, id say not fine..
Fine is more for conduction vapes in my experience..
Im sure @felvapes or @LesPlenty will chime in soon..

I use a fine grind
But I only have a fine plate and I like fine grinds
I think Les uses a medium
I use fine in my ALP on demand too

Well thats me completely wrong then.. i thought you would want more air flow to aid convection...

In the Volcano a finer grind gives a better vape experience
My Santa Cruz grinds medium, I think, while the pre rolls I vape are ground fine
The pre rolls vape better, including a better high if that makes sense

I am with you @Kellya86, finer grind for conduction for me too!
I now only have my LBCG with a medium plate (gave the rest away) and may one day get a coarse plate. Grinding fine just seems to clog stuff faster for me. I think the S$B orange grinder used to grind really fine, I gave that away too!

From what I gather people get more flavour from a coarser grind but you get more hit and clouds from fine grind

I fine grind in everything
The shred grinder I had was medium and worked well
But I still prefer fine in all my vapes
I'm a hit and cloud chaser
I like to get high and blow clouds lol

Finally found a use for my restrictive 12" Straight Fab,

Finally found a use for my restrictive 12" Straight Fab,

I knew that bong would be a beast with these ballers
Nice

I have been playing with my chiroma for a bit now
I'll give some feedback and comparison videos soon

Initial thoughts are for $90 AUD vs $300aud (chiroma vs Taroma)
The chiroma is much better value and functions very well - it could do with some design tweaks, and I modded it immediately, but overall I'm liking it a lot - especially for what it costs

Admittedly when the TA is sat on the Chaos log heater it will be a 'plug in ball vape'. The core is a cartridge heater surrounded by 3mm boro beads.

But......
Boro, ruby, Sic and cubic zirconia all been tried out as the heater matrix and all work well.

Should be good for ball vapes, great on dewer jointed bongs too, $25 a pair,

Been playing with my balls a bit lately :razz2::smug:

I got a new coil for the Tlite and made it fit a lot better than last time I was using it
I think I am liking it the best of all my Ti heads atm
They are all very similar truthfully and extract fully
But I think with a better fitting coil the lite is winning, just
But the Taroma is nice on the eds stem
The Chiroma and Taroma perform similar to each other with slight differences for personality
They all will satisfy and you need to hit them lots to fully work out the difference
And I actually use them all in rotation each day with my dial PID and one of the returned aubers
The Tlite has that airflow and ball ratio down well with the wide barrel

But the difference is not huge and if you didn't want to spend more money the Chiroma will certainly get you balling with the rest of them

Got my packages
Kinda
Got the B2 and thought the second package was the bubbler
Instead a cruel reminder I haven't finshed the tune up on the snow blower
Ordered the bubbler separately later in the day so it could be several more days before it gets here
Under 10 business days during the holiday season
A+
Cross my fingers there's no firmware update (that's sarcasm, don't use it on reddit)
Watch a tube video to put it together

Assembly was easy
Follow along with YouTube video.

Learning curve is short
Vape is thick and milky and can use some glass extensions with carb caps to thin and cool the vape
Right now I draw and fill the water pipe then pull the head of the filling chamber, or whatever CH calls it, off and empty the water pipe
Hour or two into this and seriously high

I'm at 650f (343c) but may go down a bit
