Grow Super Grow

Hello VA, here is a brief rundown on what’s been happening inside the grow tent for the last 5 months. Looking at a late April harvest, at least that’s my deadline :juggle:. We are looking at moving into a bigger home that I believe my wife and I cougrow old in. Plus I’d be able to expand my hobby with the extra space .

One of the girls was started in a Solo cup just goofing around with a bag seed from some Super Lemon Haze and was seeing what I could do with some auto flowers. It was growing so well and strong even better than those autos that were bought and germinated from a seed bank. I had to transplant the SLH. Now I wanted to grow her out in my next grow, it won me over. Still wasn’t sure if it was a girl yet, so we had that to gamble .

I thought I had Baby pictures of the Super Skunk seeds I bought from ILGM. I don’t, the earliest I could find are at about a month old, they look to be about a foot high around this age. These are growing under an Amazon blurple that is rated at 185 w from the wall.

I also was able to convince my accountant (wife) that my grow light was quite insufficient for the floor space I was trying to cover. According to my calculations the best I could yield would be 7-8 oz on a good to great grow. My goal is to reach the LB area around the 16 oz mark. Though my new light might not get me there yet, it will bring me much closer to what the blurple couldn’t do.

The Marshydro TSW 2000 also marks the first day of 12/12 for the ladies. I already knew the sex of the SLH before flip because she was pre flowering a few weeks ahead of time.

After just a week of flower I realized this was getting out of hand lol, these girls were exploding everywhere, I was running out of space inbetweeen my floor and screen. I decided the extra 1/2 to an ounce the screen would yield isn’t worth this extra effort I was putting in. So I removed the screen entirely.

I felt like I could breath in the grow space now and it seamed like the girls felt the same, they looked happier!

Looking like some deficiencies in the bigger Super Skunks. Been feeding the 10-30-20 Jacks Bloom at 1 tsp/gallon per feeding. Not sure what to do next. Water invetween the feedings? The Jacks instructions say every watering. Anyway here is a pic of the ladies stretching out.

How's your temperatures? Those darker leaves could be showing a K lockout due to cool temps. All in all though they look pretty good, lighter leaves around new buds are due to the plants growing fast, that should slow after the stretch is done. Other than a possible slight temp problem, and I could be wrong there, they look good. Not sure id change anything.

Thanks @Shredder Always appreciate your knowledge in growing. It didn’t concern me as much as previous grows, those definitely had some nutrient things going on. I noticed it was in the bigger ones so I assumed it to be due to the large growth they encountered. Yea the temps get in the mid 50s at night so all of my grows other the one August grow I had have been purple. I like the color though so it’s all good.

Well I had to put one of the girls down. She had bananas all over . I may have caused her to stress by having the light too close. Temps would be real hot for her during day then the night temps would drop drastically. Was my biggest girl too:ugh:.

it my be hard to see banana because my camera isn’t that great:

I think the wife was more sad about the plant then me. I was trying to figure what the hell did wrong I guess. It was one of the breeder seeds I bought too. I would have thought the bag seed would be the one to herm, smh. Then again this one was closest to the light :idon'tknow:.

I dont think so it was only halfway through flower. Wish I would have had another tent because I have a light that could of finished her. She had about a hundred bananas or more though. Could have had some female seeds out of it .

I'd still dry the buds and make medible oil or butter. If it's weak, you can add stronger buds to it later. A little is better than none.

Hermies do happen. Usually it's genetic, but your temperature swings don't help either.

I wouldn't save the seeds either since they would have a known tendency to Hermie. Not worth going through this again.
