Well, my Dad did! First pet was a family pet. He's a mechanic so for whatever reason, he has some rule that every pet dog has to be named after a car model. He doesn't care about the cats .

The closest we got to getting a non-car name was when we convinced him to name a dog "Sequoia". Dad thinks she was named after the Toyota Sequoia. But really it's from sequoia sempervirens, the great California Redwood . She was too majestic to be named after an SUV.


If my stripper name was based on the first non-family pet/street I'd be: Eddie Macdonald.

I feel like Eddie would be my vanilla, run of the mill porn star persona. Then when I put on the leather and break out the chains I'd become the classy yet domineering Lexus Duffield
