I don't own a LSV... however Steve from Elev8 put out a video on IG asking people to PLEASE not use them in the SSV like Troy advises to. They adhere to the ceramic rod. The LSV uses the same ceramic rod, if I'm not mistaken. Here's the IG vid if you are interested. I'm pretty sure using them will void any warranty as well.

Use quartz or borosilicate not soda-lime standard glass, lots of people are enjoying using their SSV etc due to this hack, lots of users love the 'upgrade' and have no problems if quality beads are used.
