Disclaimer.... I have not made this recipe since I have a nut allergy.
I thought these might be good because the fat in the cashews should help with absorption of the cannabis.... I'm not linking to the original article because they gave zero instructions on how to put these together.... other than heating the oven to 350°F lol. So the instructions are mine.
Caramel Cashew Squares
Ingredients:
Crust
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter (2 cannabutter, 2 regular) I would personally use all cannabutter......
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Assemble ingredients and pat into the bottom of a greased, 8 x 8 pan.
Topping
1/2 cup butterscotch-flavored baking chips
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons cannabutter
1 cup chopped salted cashews
Combine topping ingredients and spread over crust.
Heat oven to 350. Now.... I think I would probably err on the side of caution and keep the temp of the oven around 325°F so as not to ruin the actives.
And... I'm guessing that you probably bake this for about 30 minutes.
