Anybody out there that wants to sell me a package like this without a pic of my drivers license please respond
Honestly mean no disrespect
Too many scammers and hackers and having a pic of my license and credit card info going out at the same time is way too risky

I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable doing that either
They don't need that information, any shop just needs your money and we good ?

Unless you buying tobacco over the counter and need ID

Otherwise I don't see the reason for it and certainly wouldn't feel safe doing so

That's a lot of info going out over dubious security measures

I'm sure there is a reason but this is going too far
Way too much risk
Just purchased something from them as a test run so they have my info

Seems to me it would have been easy enough to block out the driver's license number on the copy for privacy purposes... All this retailer is trying to do is establish that you are old enough to legally sell to. All that's needed for that is your name and the date on the license....

There were no instructions to do this and not even sure it is permissible to block anything out
It pops up as a separate window and I have no idea where this info goes
There is mega scamming going on and cyber security breaches everywhere

In one transaction a picture of my license and my credit card info go out online at the same time

Whilst I understand a vendor wanting to protect themselves from getting in trouble selling to minors - I also have never had any shop at all (or any other place that asks you to be an adult online) ask for my licence

It's always just a question at most to prove you are if age
So I would assume it isn't necessary for a seller to request this information by law online or they would all do it

It is a bit concerning for someone to hand all that info over the net imo

I see both sides, but don't think I would personally feel comfortable doing so
I already dislike that some places have my card details, name and address as it is

Most places should take PayPal in these days I think, safer for the consumer
