While other automakers were in the process of defanging their muscle cars in the early 1970s, AMC thought it would be a good idea to put a V8 in a Gremlin. The Randall AMC dealership decided to go a step further.

My best friends family had a gremlin with the V-8, it was fairly quick, but it sucked handling, I don't think it had power steeringThe funny part is the souped up version...

. No AC and the hatch back was known to shatter in your hands 
. Almost as good as a Pacer

This was a bit before my time.... but I remember eating there in the 60's and 70's and the prices hadn't changed much. Can't imagine what they would be now. And guaranteed the portions would be a whole lot smaller.
