If you like Cake you should check out a band called The Loved Ones. They broke up a long time ago. Xan McCurdy was in The Loved Ones before Cake. They were a mod r&b band. Absolutely incredible. I missed seeing them live, unfortunately. Totally different type of music but he’s great.
