This farmer couple used silicon to create molds in the shape of their own feet. They then planted turnips using these molds. As the turnips grew, they filled the molds and took on the shape of their feet.
Not outdoor garden related.... I'm a little bit excited about two indoor plants I've been nursing along. One is a recent purchase of a Cotyledon that I've gotten to bloom.
It just pushed out a new flower bud.
And the second is a Pilea plant that has never done much of anything but get tall. So tall I have to support the 'trunk' of it. I've had this thing for almost 10 years and have almost thrown it out a couple times. It FINALLY pushed out a 'pup.' You can see it at the bottom left of the plant.
