I've been working on this off and on for a year or so. I'm using a pulse width modulator circuit to power the vape, this is semi regulated. You set the rheostat and the circuit adjust the amount of power the coil sees. It is similar to running a mod in wattage mode. The early prototypes work great and I hope to have the latest proto done soon. It will have a turbo button that goes for full power making it like an unregulated on demand unit. My favorite method is to set it for your favorite "wattage" then use the turbo button to get it going when it is a fresh, cold load. Then as you draw which lowers the temp, you can feather the turbo button a bit.
