dragon fly wings

This is not stained glass.

Just one dragonfly can consume over one hundred mosquitos in a day
Dragonflies can fly backwards
They have nearly 360-degree vision
Their wings inhibit bacterial growth due to their natural structures.

Hoshizuna-no-Hama is a beach on Iriomote Island in Okinawa, Japan, famous for its unique sand composed of tiny star-shaped shells called Baclogypsina sphaerulata, the remains of foraminifera, single-celled organisms that create these shells as they grow in the ocean. The shells are white or brown and range in size from about 0.1 to 0.5 millimeters in diameter. Visitors are advised to enjoy the beach and search for the star-shaped sand during low tide and not remove any sand from the protected area.
