Paul Rose Band - Frankfurt Blues.
Bonus point if you can name the gentleman with the bowtie, left of stage. He's a jazz legend and I can remember his name. :( Regardless, he's enjoying the monster performance.
I love a lot of afro-caribbean music...but that genre does cover a hell of a lot of ground. Here is a classic from the master, Tito Puente doing Oye Como Va. Many of us may remember this song from Santana's album Abraxas released in 1971. But it was originally written and performed by Mr. Puente. Its the roots of the rhythm.
Now this is a Muddy Waters tune that fans of the blues may have heard before. But I want to point out Jerry Portnoy on the mouth harp. Without a doubt one of the greats with that instrument. I'm pretty sure it was Mr. Portnoy I saw playing the harmonica on stage with Clapton doing the Back to the Cradle tour. He's beyond belief.
