cannabis strains

I used to go to Leafly to read up on different strains. But, now I can't just type in a strain to see how it should perform. They seem to have changed their format. Any suggestions? Not being in a legal state, I don't have a clue what I would be getting. But, sometimes you'll hear the word Girl...

Yeah, I just get bags of crap! hahaha Well, even now that our legal MMJ program has finally opened, I really have no way to tell at all that the SFV OG that I can buy is the same strain/phenotype/chemotype as that bought in southern CA, right? And even perhaps within CA there is probably GREAT...

While doing some research today, I came across this website that seems to have some real good information on which strains benefit which symptoms. You can search the strains by illness or desired effects, by type (Indica or Sativa) or by state. Another great site for strain info is Leafly.com.
