Interesting Fact: Chainsaws were originally invented for helping with childbirth, not for cutting wood
Before cesarean sections, large babies required parts of the pelvis to be removed, a process initially done with a knife. In 1780, two doctors invented a hand-cranked chainsaw to make this procedure easier and faster.
The chainsaw was later used for other surgeries and eventually evolved into the power tool we know today.
