You sure can.
They are Lithops; a type of succulent. These are not my pics. I don't have a lot of success with them and usually kill them off within the first month. I've been told I over watered. I think they are so cool.

I decided that it was really time to get stronger ones, when I looked at this picture, and thought it was a
Volcano chamber with a stir tool, stirring around his ABV to get one more bag!
