I was taken out to dinner at the most amazing restaurant here in Detroit last night. It is the old home of log baron, David Whitney. The main floor has 7 fireplaces alone. The wood carving and stained glass is outstanding. And the food? Omg.... These aren't my pics... and I really wish I had snapped some. I'm thinking I'd like to go back again and take the tour. After hitting the 'Ghost Bar' on the third floor, we sat in front of the window to the left of the doorway with a great view of the front courtyard and Woodward Ave.
