I grabbed a sjk induction heater and never had problems.
Haven't used it in quite a while now........maybe dig it out.

Definitely found the IH makes avb more even and no charred looking bits compared to the flame

I mainly use IH but still pull out my torches from time to time. Torch gives a different experience, a stronger hotter feeling hit, AVB is darker. I like both.

I can go shorter or later now depending on my desired experience

I've heard some claim the DV isn't pure because of a small amount of combustion that takes
place.

Any combustion that takes place is due to operator error, IMO, not the design function of the device. Vapor is created by both convection and conduction means rather than combustion. If you heat a Vapcap to the extent that you are combusting and creating smoke, not vapor, you are using it as a pipe rather than as a vaporizer as intended.
