i grew up with twin peaks, and i absolutely adore the music angelo badalementi composed for all of lynch's work, but particularly both twin peaks soundtracks. this

angelo badalamenti - Moving Through Time​

is one i really like from fire walk with me, but both soundtracks are masterworks imo and full of so much great music. julee cruise might deserve her own post.
anyway, i have been on the lookout for this kind of music (jazz? i know very little about jazz, just some classics) ever since and was never really that successful. the closest i came is the "doom-jazz" dubbed combo bohren & der club of gore, see below, their album sunset mission sounds like it could have been recorded in the white (or black?) lodge. if ANYONE has suggestions for similar music, please do share
