I dont think thats an option.. i think i read somewhere that its done to cool that dish section to effect the flow of oil..??

I was considering a torchable slurp but my ir gun doesnt seem to measure glass to well.....oh im aware, and you can sink alot into doing dabs... sometimes simple is better imo
While it does have more plant matter and will leave your banger dirtier... rosin is just as 'preferred' as solvent based concentrates imo. I love dabbing rosin. It's just hard to come by. The dispensaries here in Michigan don't really carry it. And if they do it's ridiculously expensive. So it's either having a caregiver that supplies it or squishing yourself.
There is next to no plant matter when you press bubble hash or even buds if you use low enough micron bags and take it easy on pressure, time and heat.
What micron bag size do you use?
Perhaps saying there is more 'plant matter' in it is the wrong way to phrase it... but I do find that rosin leaves my banger dirtier than concentrates that are solvent based. I always attributed that to there being plant matter in the product but perhaps it's something else that makes that happen?
Yeah see using opaque slurps.. maybe rosin wont be the best choice..

We don't have a 'DIY' thread per se... But we have two sub-forums in the concentrate area, The Extraction Lab where the process is discussed and then Extraction Equipment where the different types of equipment used are discussed. I would think the place to post a thread with your questions and/or on your experiences would be in the Extraction Lab.
I agree wholeheartedly, I have pressed up to 50g (2x 25g 40mm pucks) at once with my 10t unit when testing its limits. It does not even break a sweat at a 15g puck, 10g pucks can be hand pre-pressed and you can do 2 of them at once if you want.
