People in the U.S are freaking out about housing interest rates. They hovered around 8.5 percent off and on for years. Originally our first home had an interest rate around 11% and eventually we refinanced. The highest rate I saw was a little over 20%. Folks refinanced as soon as rates came down. The lowest rate I had was 5%, we eventually paid it off. The 3 percent housing interest rates I don’t know if we will see it again real soon. Interest rates are money down the drain.
Just a thought.
With inflation it’s the lower income that suffer the worst. Higher income folks most of the time have money to spare.
