I was thinking about the old dial phone earlier while playing with my new Old Mate grinder that was sitting open with the face down.

Unfortunately yes. Never will I cut back on BACON.

@Squiby I think health care is worse than ever. It's really sad.

At least ICU is the vip treatment.
I always get right in no wait. :rofl: :nod:
I'm sure there happy just had the wife bring me a Philly steak. Lol

I agree. I've been hospitalized many times and I too have noticed an overall deterioration in the services offered. Even though I've felt that I've always been well cared for especially when in ICU, I've noticed a a distinct lack and paring down over the last 5 years or so. It is very sad to see this critical service deteriorating before our eyes.

I noticed a significant difference in the amount of nurses and nursing assistants at the hospital I was at recently. I stayed for 5 days. Staff are all doubling up with the workload. Too much work for so few healthcare givers. The staff are very frustrated. I had some conversations with a couple of the nurses, they just do their best. i had no problem with them venting to me about it. I just wanted to be compassionate.

The patients don’t get the care that they are used to in the past. I had to wait for pain pills a few times that were overdo.

Theres a major problem in the local school districts as well. Not enough teachers or para educators to fill the positions.
