Vitolo
Vaporist
The chipping occurs with a few individuals.Saw one in a vapefiend ig video.. paint had all chipped off... worrying for quality...
The culprit is handling the unit a great deal with oily hands.
They are re-thinking the coating....
the coating is on the battery puck's outside, and the stem's exterior.
There is no coating inside the vape at any level/location.
Users that have chipping on the stem can peel the coating off, or request replacement.
The upcoming stems will have no coating, and be all stainless steel.
Note:
I got my TB in January.
That is 6 months of daily use. It is not my daily driver, but I do use it all night.
I have used it for 5-6 full sessions a day for the entire 6 months.
My unit shows no type of degradation at all.
All patients that I have gotten a TB for have experienced no wear, and a couple use the TB as their only vaporizer.
My only acquaintances that own a TB that has shown wear are online.
When I look at videos from these owners with worn Tafée Bowles... I notice that their other vaporizers look "beat" and worn also.
This wear that you saw on the videos is partially to blame on the users and how they handle and maintain there vaporizers.
This post reflects my opinion, tempered with a great deal of experience.
It is in no way an enticement or invitation for argument or debate.
