Cannabinoids are the chemicals which give the cannabis plant its medical and recreational properties. Cannabinoids like THC and CBD interact with different receptors in the body to produce a wide range of effects, such as feeling high. The marijuana plant produces as many as 113 different cannabinoids. The classic cannabinoids are:
