That's beautiful, Mom. My favorite internal, mental scene for relaxation, is indeed by a north woods lake in the evening....morning! LOL

Indeed, it is.Another happy place...
This all came up...oh, maybe 14 years ago when I hit a rough spot in life (happens from time to time) and a counselor worked with me a bit on relaxation techniques, most of which I don't remember, but I did come up with a scene....north woods lake, as I said....and when I need to I can feel the cool breeze on my face sitting beside that lake.
Then you may like this one as well.... you can almost tell how cold the water would be on your toes....

In a BLACK HOLE!
I took this picture a couple days ago..... the last hurrah of fall in my yard. Most of the leaves are now down and we've had snow twice.
I just want to wish all of the inmates a very happy Thanksgiving...
