I have two Fairy Castle cacti. They are about 3 years old. In comparison to other cactus, they seem to be relatively slow growers.

In the same South window an Echeveria Nodulosa lives. It's getting ready to flower in the next month or so. It always looks dusty, but it's not, it's just the way the leaves look. It has deep green, almost turquoise, leaves with a deep red outline and pattern on them. It's a cutie.

New arrival...
String of turtles...

@Kellya86 You're going to love that plant! Easy care. Water when completely dry. It gets those little spiky Peperomia flowers when its happy. I've had bits get broken off and have just laid them on the dirt and they root up and create a new plant with no other effort. I think they're neat!

Here's mine; Peperomia Prostrata, String of Tutles. I keep mine in bright indirect light about 6' from a West window. They are slightly different from each other. One has thicker shinier leaves and the other has a more matte appearance. Bought from different vendors.

Its such an animated plant...
In daytime his leaves look like this.. but at night they all point straight up.. and it happens so quick.. i love him...

A couple of my favorite houseplants...

First a Cotyledon pendens. There's no common name that I'm aware of. I love this plant! I have a few plants from this family and they are all delightful! They are self branching so a single plant fills out nicely and their flowers are orange pendulous bells. Mine hasn't flowered yet.

I've had it about a year and a half and it has tripled in size.

Next is a Crassula marnieriana. It's my favorite of the stacked Crassulas. It has several common names such as Jade Neckkace or Worm Plant. It also freely branches so it become thicker and more sprawling over time.

I haven't had any luck with hellebore but I think they are fascinating! Otherworldly for sure. I may try to grow them again. They are just the neatest flower!

Below is a Swedish Ivy. Plectranthus species. It's neither from Sweden nor an ivy, but rather related to the mint family. It has almost succulent leaves with a purple underside. Quite attractive and easy to grow.

This one is my Boat Lily or Moses in the Cradle. Tradescantia spathacea. Another easy care houseplant.

Some Friday succulents...

A Trailing Jade. It's not related to the common crassula Jades but is rather a Senecio Jacobsenii. It's a relatively fast grower and will continue to spill over the sides of the pot.

Another Jade like plant is this Elephant Bush, a variegated Portulacaria Afra. Also not related to Jades but resemble them. This plant prefers indirect light, unlike real Jades which require full sun.

And finally, a crassula since I've been showing unrelated copy cats. This is a Red Pagoda Crassula. It has triangular leaves tinged with red undersides. It displays pretty little pink star like flowers in the fall/winter.

Aeoniums are a rosette shaped family, much like the more popular Echiveras. Unlike Echiveras, they grow a trunk and readily branch out resembling miniature trees. They are commonly known as Tree Aeonium. They love lots of sun and very little water.

Irish Bouquet.
