Herbert Adams slow cooked pepper steak. Coles & Woolies has em. Garlo's pies are also good if you are partial to a pie. I drown em in sauce too . Pie, Choccy milk & another pie or sausage roll is something a few of us relate to I bet .

Omgosh @Stevenski those look like they deserve a big RRRRRRRR, so jealous and got me thinking I need to do some investigations at the store soon.

You are welcome @Ed's TnT they put a smile on my face everytime remembering the first you and the boys first ate them, and the clean up operation afterwards.

Wintergreen, liquorice, aniseed, ginger and cinnamon are my flavours of choice when it comes to sweet things. Poor choice if any on my two favourites over here, wintergreen and cinnamon.

It was a case of 'bloody Nora shit the bed' this afternoon.

They are sooooo good. I make them in a slightly different way. I take the banana and cut a slit through the skin lengthwise. Then I stick pieces of chocolate in the slit and wrap the whole thing in foil. Barbeque... and then scoop out the insides and serve with ice cream.

The trick is to use really ripe bananas... they need to be spotty.

Me likey, will find time to make this, Just finished baking a round of Christmas rice crispy treats and a few other finger nibbles to give out to friends and neighbors.

I make them in a slightly different way. I take the banana and cut a slit through the skin lengthwise. Then I stick pieces of chocolate in the slit and wrap the whole thing in foil.

I used to make these all the time as a kid, exactly as you describe. Cooked the foil wrapped, chocolate stuffed bananas on the grill,in the oven or over a campfire. They were heavenly! I haven't made them now for probably 30 years!!! But they are scrumptious.
