I know them pies....from woolies? Not as flash as some of the peeps food here but I had the best freezer pie in my life on Sunday. Absolutely sensational after a few stems.

Thems the ones in a black packet....Herbert Adams slow cooked pepper steak. Coles & Woolies has em. Garlo's pies are also good if you are partial to a pie. I drown em in sauce too . Pie, Choccy milk & another pie or sausage roll is something a few of us relate to I bet .
My pleasure! I can't wait to hear how you like the hot fudge sauce on your phattnanners..... don't forget to warm it up first...fanfukintastic.

what's a phatnanner??
They are sooooo good. I make them in a slightly different way. I take the banana and cut a slit through the skin lengthwise. Then I stick pieces of chocolate in the slit and wrap the whole thing in foil. Barbeque... and then scoop out the insides and serve with ice cream.looks awesome, never seen this in my culinary adventures.
I used to make these all the time as a kid, exactly as you describe. Cooked the foil wrapped, chocolate stuffed bananas on the grill,in the oven or over a campfire. They were heavenly! I haven't made them now for probably 30 years!!! But they are scrumptious.I make them in a slightly different way. I take the banana and cut a slit through the skin lengthwise. Then I stick pieces of chocolate in the slit and wrap the whole thing in foil.

@phattpiggie often serves them up with ice cream and chocolate shavings or sauce.
