Couldn't edit my post so please merge @momofthegoons
Got to fire it up and inserted my condensers into the WPA and DD @stevenki my WPA condenser fits nicely I did shove the extra into the tip so it's flush with the bottom.
Over all very satisfied with my order. Beautiful peice of art and everything I hoped for. Heats fast and stays hot . Time to get my UD on to it's new home
Sounds like you backed a winner there. One word of warning with the condensers. You can get them to fit flush but when removing for cleaning be aware that the last 10mm of condenser will likely be coated inside & outside from the tip. YMMV but that is what I have found in my experience.
That's really a question better suited for the Dynavap thread. But tip #2 in the VapCap Tips 1.0 explains some of the different lighters. You may want to start there. I use the 3 flame lighter that is supplied. I've also tried a single flame. But I struggle with both which is why I am now on the @Pipes Skeletor list.What kind of torch does everyone use here at the asylum ? (For the vapcap )

So efficent NO STIR. You @Ed's TnT did it sir. :worship2:
I think they don't get much prettier than that.....Got a new piece I did over the last week or 2 I would say, took a bit of time letting the stones set, what do you think?
By now everyone should have the orings I sent out. As I said all ya have to do is slip them over the top of the heat port so they rest on the shoulder. This will seal the gap when using the glass with the WS.

Gee..... I wonder who that one is for?
Really cool caddy @Stevenski not to busy, just right to keep all neat and tiddy, I like it! Forgive me bro, I think I forgot to mail you since we worked out yours through a different correspondence, I have your info and will get em out tomorrow my man! They will surely make all the difference for you and will be anxious to hear what you think. They will be coming in a simple white envelope so hopefully they wont take long at all. Glad you like the inlay also, since I did that first piece, I knew I had another to do and was thinking for a while what else could I do besides just a band on the side. Not sure how long it was but was some time before I thought of the rim. i remember seeing a large round vase in youtube that had inlay near the rim, figured wth how come it took me so long to think of that?? Oh you know the stem/wong have inlay also, just wait I will have pics of that soon if not before the new owner posts up, hmm guess we will have to wait and see.
Off to the shop everyone, did here back from a guy that got one of the live edge Amboyna WS, he sent me a great text that really lifted my spirits end of the week, saying it was a beast and wow he was so enjoying it. Was going to give it a few more days and give share his thoughts here soon. Hes a solid guy and am sure you all will like what he has to say as I am anxious to read it. Take care everyone and be safe the week ahead!
No dramas bro. You know the score with me so take as long as you like. I really wish I had asked for an inlay on my Blackwood stem in particular. Bit like putting racing stripes on a sports car as it changes nothing fundamental but some people like racing stripes . Hope the sales pick up as there is a whole world missing out on WS action. That Bog Oak is sweet as Ed but a couple of dark burn lines would make that really pop.
After giving my stems a good clean I have reconfigured the condenser so that it fits flush (I just need to be careful when removing the condenser for cleaning). It does look much better overall but it will be one to monitor.
Added a carb to my 18mm J hook & it is working brilliantly. It also adds a bit of height to the hook & use your trigger finger to vent the carb. A taste inducing rocketship!
@Stevenski
Only thing I noticed about pushing the condenser tip flush and into the TTip was when it cools it's harder to pull the tip off the condenser because it honey glued shut. Couldn't get the WPA into the HT without sitting it flush
The problem is that vaping still hasn't become mainstream (at least not with cannabis). More people smoke than vape still. Add to that that within the group that is vaporing, very few know what a log vape is? It becomes a niche industry. I still have people ask me what a 'log vape' is with a puzzled look on their face. And I've been vaping off of a log since I started.Hope the sales pick up as there is a whole world missing out on WS action.
I agree. But add a band of turquoise and that baby would have the 'sexy boom boom' factor.That Bog Oak is sweet as Ed but a couple of dark burn lines would make that really pop.
