Whoa - I need this grinder! I only wish there was a gallery that showed different colour/colour combinations. I end up always picking all black. Anyone have a multi-colour one and want to share a pic?
What on Earth? Why are there so many middle sections there? I really like the idea of different colors for the different plates. This must somehow be all three grinder plates put on one grinder

They've got a good selection of combos on their IG too: https://www.instagram.com/brilliant.cut.grinder/
I used the plastic grinder included with my volcano for many years thinking it was great.
When I bought my Solo 2 I didn’t have a grinder. Nowhere near me to get one and I hate ordering stuff that I want right away. Then it dawned on me I could 3D print one. Sure enough, there are tons of designs on thingiverse so I printed the cheap $5 style and it does actually suit my needs, but I’d bedamned if that BCG isn’t the nicest grinder I’ve seen. If I luck into money or sell some of the junk I’ve collected all these years, I’ll probably get one, but it’s pretty hard to part with that much $$$ on a grinder.
Looks like a clear difference in grinds to me in the pics, no?It has arrived.
And I am impressed. Really a sleek design. The magnets are insanely strong. In fact... if you are really arthritic it may be hard to remove the bottom chamber to access your herb. But I'm having no issues with it and love the design. And I think the size is perfect for my usage. I don't know that I'd want it bigger. But to each their own. I opted for the full set that includes all 3 plates (fine, med, coarse) for $125 US. You can buy a grinder with just one type plate for $75 US but I wanted to check out all the options. One probably doesn't need them all... I don't see a huge difference, for instance, between the medium and the fine plates in the coarseness of the grind. If someone just wanted one plate the medium would probably suffice.
Some grinder porn.... with the different plates...

It's too early to comment on the durability or how this grinder will do over time. But it seems like it's been really well engineered. I'm happy with my purchase. I give it a
There's a difference; especially with the coarse plate. But if a person didn't want to splurge on all 3 plates, and wanted to try the grinder with one good all around grind plate, I'm suggesting that the medium plate would do the job. While there is some difference between the two, I don't think that there is a huge difference between the fine and the medium grind. My opinion for what it's worth. And there is a significant difference in price between buying the grinder with one plate for $75 US and the grinder with 3 plates for $125 US. Might be enough of a difference that people who have expressed sticker shock would try the grinder.Looks like a clear difference in grinds to me in the pics, no?
I'm glad first impressions are good. I've ran about a qp thru mine and today I gave it a first deep clean. Came out clean as a whistle with a tooth brush and iso .It has arrived.

Is that a quarter of a pound?
Just about. I was using the med plate upside down to get it fine for my pax3 before the fine plate arrived. I'm thinking this is why it was a lil dirty but it cleaned up greatIs that a quarter of a pound?

That's a good tip and is exactly how I open mine.A tech recommended to me and which I found to work well is to crack it open like an egg...that is, lift it from one side and the magnets will free easier that trying to lift it straight up and off.
Cheers
