Fires everywhere
I'm almost surrounded ATM
We are on warning to watch out for evac
I'm supposed to pack one bag of emergency stuff
This isn't possible
My vapes take up one bag.....
I need at least two bags for my necessities....
Packing the Chinese 4x4 with fridge and solar panels/batteries ready to go
Vape bag and other necessities bag ready to throw in the back grab the dog and go
Third bag for weed and oils
Unfortunately the roads are blocked all around so no way out ATM
At least I have the lake out the front

Other scary thing has been police
They've been doing blitzes with sniffer dogs recently strip searching children
But there have also been reports of them ordering an evac and then drug and drink testing everyone up the road on only road out
Like wtf
We have a very police state gov ATM Esp in NSW and this is not only a BS waste of resources while volunteer fire fighters are dying saving people, they could be actually out there doing a job that's needed ATM as opposed to political stunts and harrassment of the public
Also dangerous instead of letting people out they back up traffic with RBT and RDT
So I'm concerned about fires
But also worried about the drive out with all my stash as I'm not leaving it behind

The fire that was a couple mins away from me was controlled earlier
Lots of dickheads lighting fires during a ban and sparking big ones from the wind carrying embers in my area ATM
Some stupid kids too
But still no roads in or out of a certain area ATM to the city or anywhere
Fires all around the place north to south
Close to biggest rescue navy has done in history and on homeground other day
Fires all over the country at once
Heat waves
The ground outside is all full of big cracks and dry from lack of rain
Farmers are saying they've never seen droughts this long and bad ever
All bigger and worse case than ever
But climate change isn't real ......
I'm near a lake so can pack the dog and necessities in the car and pack the fridge in car and go camp by the lake if I have to
Many people have been evac to beaches right on the water and told to wear life jackets ready to float
I think I'll be okay for now but no choice anyway besides waiting it out
The sky went black earlier in 2 mins from smoke
Then red as it blew away
Smells like smoke outside all the time
Hottest temp in country and state today was 49 °c
That's stinking hot
Thank goodness I'm stocked up ATM
Of all times to go without meds now isn't one of them
And thank fuck for vapes as I can consume if I have to in places a bong or joint smoking would not be possible

We've been getting updates on the fires on the news. It looks almost like the entire country is on fire. Every time I see more on it, I think of y'all, and hope you stay safe.
Not to be political, but we have real evidence now that climate change is real. How much more proof do we need? Ignorance is dangerous.
